Bozos NFL Week 4 Picks- No Slippin’ Jimmy- Better Call CJ!

Thursday Night Football featured an incredible offensive display with the home LA Rams prevailing over the suddenly (1-2-1) Minnesota Vikings 38-31. The books hit the number on the head so the game was a push. Goff threw for 465 yards and 5 TDs while Cousins nearly matched him with 422 yards and 3 TDs. The speed at which this game was played was phenomenal, the defense simply could not figure out the offensive schemes and were unable to slow down any receivers. Minnesota, after losing Defensive Coordinator Pat Shurmer to the Giants, has had no answer in consecutive weeks to Josh Allen and Jared Goff. The Rams are the real deal and with their ability to run with Gurley and ability to stop the run with Donald and Suh makes them legitimate Super Bowl favorite.

1 PM Games

Dolphins @ Patriots (-7)

The undefeated Dolphins travel to NE in their biggest regular season game in decades to try to increase their lead over the (1-2) Pats to three games. NE is reeling after being handled fairly easily by Jacksonville and Detroit on the road the last two weeks. One would assume that Belichick will hunker down in his office and produce a game plan to stop Miami and right his ship before it takes on any more water. The Pats have won 14 out of the last 16 vs. the Fins. But Tannehill is showing form and confidence and is 10-1 in his last 11 starts. We think the odds are the Dolphins will play tough for a while and put a scare into Giselle’s Pretty Boy and cover the seven.

Texans @ Colts (-1)

A Ho-hum game where we expect Houston’s defensive front to get to Luck and notch their first win against division rival Indianapolis.

Bengals @ Falcons (-4)

Cincinnati played well until the Ravens pulled away easily last Sunday in Baltimore. The Falcons lost in OT to the Saints at home and should recover to square their season record at 2-2. In a high scoring affair we like Atlanta to cover.

Bills @ Packers (-9 ½)

The Bills are on the road for the second consecutive week against the NFS North, this time facing GB and Aaron Rodgers. Crazy that Buffalo could dominate the Vikings in the manner they did, we find it difficult to imagine they could pull off an upset in Lambeau. Jury is still out on this Bills team but we love Josh Allen and his exciting potential. We’ll take the Pack to gain control of the division after a weak performance in DC last week. Lay the 9 ½.

Lions @ Cowboys (-3)

The Thanksgiving hosts face each other in Big D, with both teams coming in at 1-2. The Lions, however are riding high off their mauling of the Pats. Dallas limps in after another poor inconsistent bore fest in Seattle. Take the points and look for an upset, Jason Garret moves closer to the hot seat after this one.

Jets @ Jaguars (-7 ½)

A thoroughly lackluster Jags team puked on the field against the Titans last Sunday in Jacksonville after the Jags dominated the Pats the week before. Hard to figure but the Jets with their rookie QB Sammy coming to town will be just the ticket the Jags need to punch to go 3-1. New York lost to the Browns. Give the 7 ½. Jets won’t get to 14 points.

Buccaneers @ Bears (-3)

Tampa was brought back down to earth by the Steelers last Monday but Fitzy was still impressive. This team has some WR talent for sure. However Khalil Mack and the Bears at Soldier field await. Trubisky needs to play more consistently however in a tough call we are going with the Bears defense to make the difference. Give the FG at home.

Eagles @ Titans (+3 ½)

Tennessee stunned the Jags on the road last week while Philly barely beat the Colts at the Linc. We look for another low scoring tight game and in this case were taking the home dog with more than a FG.

4 PM Games

Seahawks @ Cardinals (+3)

Two crappy teams, Cards blew a rare chance to win last week against the Bears. They have another shot with Mr. Rosen slinging it vs. Seattle so we’ll take the home dog to grab their first win before it gets too desperate in the desert.

Browns @ Raiders (-2 ½)

If Gruden can’t figure out how to get a home win against the brownies, then all those years studying film will go down the drain. Mayfield is exciting to watch but we expect Derek Carr to finally put a game plan together for 4 quarters and get the Raiduhs in the Win column, if only by a late FG.

49ers @ Chargers (-10 ½)

Slippin’ Jimmy is lost, Better Call CJ Beathard. The Lightning Bolts have too much firepower and SF will play conservatively try to survive by running the ball and fall off in the race to 30 points. Chargers to cover the big spread. Beathard won’t have enough time to bring anything to the table this week.

Saints @ Giants (+3)

The G- Men finally got their shit together scoring their first win on the road against the Texans. Finally moving Flowers to the bench paid off. Eli got some time and if he has time to throw this week, he could get Shepherd and Odell to bust one. In a high scoring affair, we’ll take the Giants to even their record at home with a big win against the Hall of Famer drew Brees.

Sunday Night

Ravens @ Steelers (-3)

Again with the wild Steelers at night against the hated Ravens. Baltimore has lost three straight against Big Ben but at home at night will tough this one out. Pittsburgh will shoot themselves in the foot. Tomlin is losing control.

Monday Night

Chiefs @ Broncos (+4 ½)

Patrick Mahomes is tearing up the league with 13 TDs in his first three games and we don’t expect the train to stop rolling in Mile High. Denver has improved with Keenum, however their weapons can’t match up to Hunt and Hill on KC. KC will cover in this big division road game.

Bozo Best Bets

Chargers over the 49ers by 10 1/2

Jaguars over the Jets by 7 ½

Raiders over the Browns by 2 ½
