Battle of the Bay Area- (Take a Knee Game) Gruden gets a Win!-Viewers take a Loss

The (1-6) Raiders take the bus south to Santa Clara to face off against the (1-7) SF 49ers in a game the FOX network is sorry they scheduled. Is this a battle for the #1 pick in the 2019 draft? The Giants might have something to say about that!

The game is a toss up, Vegas has the Raiders (+2 1/2) but recent news indicates Jimmy G.’s backup CJ Beathard might not play and 3rd stringer Nick “at Nite” Mullins will start. If Chucky can’t win this gift of a game, I don’t see when he’ll get a better opportunity. Derek Carr, with 8 interceptions, has been sacked 17 times and needs some help from his line. Oakland was buried last week at home vs. The Colts, 42-28, while SF blew a late lead to fall to the Cards 18-15. Mullins has yet to throw an NFL pass. But Kaepernick is not good enough to play in the league.

At least the Raiders put up some points. Looks like a Netflix night but I’ll be checking my scoreboard app. Or I can always go to Akron vs. Northern Illinois!
