Robert Kraft’s Happy Ending and Colin Kaepernick
- Updated: 02/22/2019
Recently the NFL announced a settlement with Colin Kaepernick regarding collusion to keep him out of the NFL. While some have yelled and screamed that this is proof of an evil NFL ownership, we believed the settlement agreement was nothing more than NFL owners not wanting their e-mails, phone calls and text messages revealed in discovery. Bobby Kraft AKA “Macaroni and Special Cheese”, just proved our point. The billionaire owners were petrified of a legal team getting access to their personal information.
NFL owners are a rare breed of egomaniacs and billions of dollars in net worth. They are used to getting their way and being above the law in most everything they do. They do not care about leases or contracts or breaking the rules to get what they want. Does anyone in their right mind believe that there wasn’t at least one or multiple text messages or e-mails between the all male club owners referencing Colip Kap in a derogatory racial manner? Jerry Jones of the Cowboys and Jerry Richardson of the Panthers probably have pictures, texts and messages that would make even this Bozo blush. In the case of Kraft (who has denied the allegations) we are to believe that a man worth $8 billion cannot afford to have a masseuse come to his mansion, but instead must go to “Happy Ending Landings” in Jupiter Florida to get that knot out of his back? Kraft has denied it and took his 77 year old wrinkled ass to the set of “Empire” to watch Jussie Smollett film the next episode.
The Colin Kap settlement was nothing more than marching orders from owners afraid of this exact scenario. Think about how many owners would be in divorce court if their phone records showed them calling a 25 year old woman named “Candy” or asking a 21 year old girl named ‘Sun YI’ for a full body nude massage and to send pictures? While I did not agree with Kap’s protest, I think the NFL paid way too much attention to it and made it a bigger issue than was warranted. They could have buried this whole story years ago, but instead chose to play the honor game and act like they were offended by this disrespect. Rather than go into court, the NFL reportedly paid Kap almost 40 million dollars in exchange for silence and for not having to turn over their cell phone and e-mail records. Stay tuned because this may be the opening of Pandora’s box and every lawsuit against the NFL in the future may include all owners and their private information. I can only imagine what must be on the cell phones and e-mails of Redskin owner Dan Snyder or that weird looking Raider owner Mark Davis. Seriously, imagine you’re the NFL’s legal team and the opposing legal team wants to see all e-mails and text messages pertaining to this guy? Any man who has a haircut like this despite being worth billions must have some rather interesting information on his phone. The NFL made a wise decision in the nick of time to settle pre discovery. I’m going to go take a shower and try to get this image out of my head and avoid the urge to watch ‘Silence of the Lambs” this weekend.
